Kibri offer a nice Kit of a "Menck 154" dradger scaled 1:87.
|
Ready to work
Here the menck is charging a trailer from Sven Löffler. The time to load
may be the same as a 1:1 scaled crane.
The best thing for loading is cork-grit from a modelrailroad. It is light enough to catch it with the bucket and it looks like original grit.
The bucket can be changed in another tool at the ropes. It is only fixed by a hook and eye

The whole crane can be dissasembled for maintenace.

A look inside. Here I change the speecontroler in better ones from mikroantriebe. So I can dragde more exactly.

The clamshell I soldered of 0.5 mm brasslayout.

Also the chains of Kibri are not good for function. So Georg Kinzy made me some new chains of brass-plate. The carrying wheel I made of aluminium. To protect the chains I build in a spring.
