„Pontonbrücke“


The original for the modelis the Leichte Aluminium- Fährengerät of the Technischen Hilfswerk (german disaster relief organization), a kind of kit for construction of swimming bridges, working plattforms and ferries.


The model is build on base of a modified kit by KIBRI. The most modifications are necessary below the waterline, to let the model swim after mounting of the RC- components.
Each ponton get a cubicle below the waterline, build out of 0,5 mm Polystyrol.
The power units are mounted in the left and the right cubicle. Each power unit consist out of a Faulhaber- Motor 1624, a shipscrew with adiameter of 20 mm. The power pack (4,8 V, 250mAh) is installed in the cubicle of the middle ponton. The middle ponton is changeable by screws.
The receiver of the RC- unit is installed (without the case) inside of the rescue engine.


The direction of moving can be changed by different rotations of the power units.
