Hermann Helms

The Herman Helms was built according to a 1:75 Revell Construction Kit (since 1999 sold as "Arkona"). I gave the model a heavy but powerful drive unit that permits it to move at a high velocity. Because of weight limits I could add only two other functions, the on/off light switches and the standby control. If I activate the (Herman Helms) standby I can operate another model ship simultaneously. Often I have two or more 1:75 models in the water at the same time.

The model is powered by a Speed280 motor and 6 nc-cells (size AA 700 mAh). The propeller has a diameter of 25 mm.

Slightly too much below the surface - but still acceptable.
