U.S.S. Yarnall DD-541



U.S.S. Yarnall (DD-541) This model was built from the semi-scale kit from Lindberg. I built the destroyer U.S.S. Yarnall because it had an good dazzle-pattern. Lindberg´s Variante ist die U.S.S. Remey (DD-688).
To the model: The hull is about 90cm (35.4 inches) and a beam of 9cm (3.5 inches). The weight is 1800 grammes. To get an original detph the hull was made higher. To make the ship more original I rebuilt many parts. The main artilery can rotate by RC-contol any many other things have original functions.
The dazzle pattern is measure 31/2c.
